Our collective Tarot theme this week is The Tower. Intense right? Especially right on the heels of last week's Five of Cups. Often this card signals sudden and sometimes startling events that leave us forever changed. If we look closely it also offers up a chance for liberation.
I love this time of year. There is something potent about these dark winter months, the seeds lying dormant underground until they germinate break through with new life in the spring. We can all relate to that feeling; it is a palpable energy. Setting a new goal is intoxicating, and as a recovering perfectionist, I get downright giddy about it.
“The process of self-healing is the privilege of every being. Self-healing is not a miracle, nor is self-healing a dramatization of the personality as though you could do something superior. Self-healing is a genuine process of the relationship between the physical and the infinite power of the soul."
- Yogi Bhajan
On this day, yogis everywhere celebrate the life of Yogi Bhajan.
I’ve committed to transparency so I have to admit that in the beginning of my journey to become a kundalini yoga teacher, I didn’t really have a relationship with Yogi Bhajan. At least not in the way others did, and I am not including the fanatics.
